GIVE US THE LOW DOWN Jenske and I started the Heart Beet journey when my second baby was three months old. We both had a passion for healthy living and wanted the best for our families. Jenske frequently juiced for her and Fred, and I was introduced to the benefits of raw nutrition when my mom was fighting cancer. We brainstormed and realised that we wanted to start something that will also be a benefit and available to others. Because of the demanding and fast-paced lifestyles it is not always possible to consume all the must needed nutrition that fuels your body and metabolism. Heart Beet was born. Before Heart Beet, I owned a Bridal Boutique and sold it to be a stay at home mom to be with my babies.

RUGBY LIFE LOWS He travels lots and for long stretches at a time. It’s a challenge with the kids to stay focused and motivated taking care of them by myself. 

RUGBY FAN GAL MOMENT My husband’s team, The Free State Cheetahs, won the Currie Cup Final 2016. It’s a local competition but very popular. We were a tight group of friends who all lived in the same town, at that stage, and got to celebrate together. 

5 YEARS FROM NOW Running a household and an empire… hahaha! (maybe from a different country, who knows with rugby!)

WISE WORDS OF WISDOM I will choose to find joy in the journey that God has set before me. Live your life as if everything is rigged in your favour, and stay humble.
