QUALIFICATIONS
BSRM – Bachelor Sport & Recreational Management: Lincoln University 2008
ASCA – Australian Strength & Conditioning Coach: Level 1
NZ Cert – Sports Coaching: Level 1
NZIHF – National Cert in Fitness: Level 2
My first job after my degree was at Sport Taranaki in New Plymouth where it was based 50/50 in an office and out in the field. I knew that I wanted to be more active rather than office bound.

THEN CAME LIFE AS COACH HAN, FILL US IN My online fitness programme is all about sharing my passion and motivation for fitness that is engaging, positive and fun for clients all over the world!
It is for anyone who wants to improve their health, fitness and strength. This online workout program includes:
* “Scaled” options – you exercise at your own pace
* Belonging to an online group – provides extra encouragement and motivation
* Exercises which are set for the following day – you complete them when and where it suits you.
My clients are my inspiration, whether they are beginners or elite athletes. My goal is supporting and challenging people to achieve their goals.
I am also married to a professional rugby player and therefore exercise and sport dominates our lives! In saying that, for both my husband and I, our proudest achievement would have to be Cooper Romano (our son), an absolute ray of sunshine. HE makes everything in life worthwhile!

MOM/WORK-LIFE BALANCE
Monday morning 9:30am – A few rugby partners come over for a training session – rain, hail or shine. And as they say, never miss a Monday!
Tuesday – Pilates
Wednesday – A “live workout” with my online clients at 6:00am
Thursday – Rest day. My favourite day of the week!
Friday & Saturday – A workout from my online programme
Sunday – Rest day and Family day
While there are so many highs and lows when it comes to running your own business, I keep balancing my time management between business and family at the forefront.
Being in the health and fitness business, for me, means you don’t have to be fit to start, but you have to start to be fit. Keep it simple, don’t overthink things and don’t talk yourself out of it.
There are always little things you can do to kickstart your health and fitness regime. An easy place to start, would be to try my number one healthy treat – Peanut Butter Cups. They are delicious, healthy and simple!

RUGBY LIFE HIGHS We have been so fortunate to experience some special moments with rugby! The wonderful friends I have met and who become your second family.
The places I have visited, stadiums and some pretty special moments such as the 2015 Rugby World Cup; watching it first hand was just wonderful. I feel very grateful to be a part of these moments.
RUGBY LIFE LOWS Mostly accepting that Lukey is going to be away
I just find it sad for Lukey missing out on special moments with Cooper that occur daily and I know he finds it difficult too.
RUGBY FAN GAL MOMENT Gosh, where to start! I remember when Lukey first made the All Blacks and got the call, I have never been so proud!
From there, his first All Blacks game, to winning the Rugby World Cup. And every day since then I’m in total awe of his training ethics, dedication and strength towards every training session and game.
5 THINGS YOU CAN’T LIVE WITHOUT My family, friends, exercise, food and laughter.
SOME WISE WORDS OF WISDOM
“Life is, waking up an hour early, to live an hour more.”
“I’m too busy watering my own grass, to notice if yours is greener.”
